That's a scary comparison. I think some of the reason we are not able to run is because the defenses are stacking the box. They know our vertical passing game leaves something to be desired.

JJ can throw a football using shotput technique like Randall?

Also, Randall was a Saban recruit, so he must have been great, therefore, Jefferson is great.

Randall put us in early holes before bringing us back in games.

And in all those years you think a valid comparison is Randle and Jefferson. How do you get internet access under the bridge you live in? Because that's how smart I think you are.

Wow you are so late. You should have posted this last year when defenses were doing just that to us when Lee was starting.

Pretty much the reason why Scott's stats went in the toilet towards the end of the season.

The problem is our O-line isnt playing consistent.

does anyone agree with the Matt Flynn comparison the announcers made during the game last night?

Not at this juncture. I don't know why we have to make a comparison to JJ with other quarterbacks following his fifth start. He can run and throw similar to Flynn, but the playbook and his understanding is still lacking, so his troubles are easier to see as well. He has a bigger arm than Flynn but not the accuracy on the long ball at thist stage. Similar runner to Flynn. Takes too much time in the pocket at times as Flynn was prone to.

But like I said, hard to draw comparisons that mean much when you are talking about a guy on his fifth start and a fifth year senior.

JJ is 19 years old with 5 games under his belt, has a rocket arm, and has the chance to be one of the great LSU QB's before he leaves in three years. No comparison.

jason campbell of the redskins. NFL jason, not auburn jason.

similar size, athleticism. strong but not overwhelming arm. plays solid, but horribly unspectacular. limited offenses where you wonder if they are ever going to open it up- and why they are held back so much.

If you can compare him to any recent qbs it would be flynn. He wasn't too accurate passing down the field. He only hit 2 deep passes that i can remember against bama and auburn. In games against lesser opponents he struggled going deep. Like flynn his can manage a game and that is all lsu is asking him to do we are 3-0.
