you should rename your thread subject:

highlights from the Tulane board's reaction to the series' end:

Personally, that 2010 schedule has 9 very losable games. God, I pray they go 3-9.

This would be great if we could vanquish the schedule permanently of Tech, ULM, ULL, Tulane, etc. Unfortunately we picked up McNesse next season and Northwestern after that. Sadly McNeese would probably handle all the rest of the in-state schools around.

I love how all they care about is the money. We should pay them for not kicking their arse...no wait...that's not how it works. Where is their fricking lunch money?

those guys are idiots, they think that we did a straight trade for McNeese. they obviously don't realize that we traded their sorry asses for an up and coming UNC team on National TV. The envy radiating from that board is kind of disgusting

sophrandos has issues

"First, GFY. How I handle people breaking a contract and insulting my intelligence is up to me. Your fans claimed that breaking the deal was because of BCS implications, which is clearly BS. Your fans (and you) claimed that it's about money and getting a better game for your season ticket holders. Clearly, that is BS.

LSU was under no obligation to buy out of the deal. Their GREED and SPITE toward New Orleans in general is at the crux of this issue.

I hope that this BS costs you a shot at a championship, but I also hope that you never have to deal with your schedule mattering because you fall into disarray.

BTW, don't ever attempt to talk down to me again, son."

maybe if tulane could draw more fans than some AA high school games, they could complain

Those people have COMPLETELY lost their fricking minds. LSU is not obligated to support their entire shitty athletic department. I think we should stop playing them in everything. The raping that goes on every-time we have to play at Tchurchin should be criminal.

so now letting the tulane athletic dept. fail means LSU is turning their back on New Orleans

I think we should put them on a rotation along with some of our other traditional non conference rivals like Texas A&M, Florida St., Notre Dame.

We could have like 4 year deals with each school that would rotate every 16 years.

Coach, why are there 4,000 people in this 78,000 seat stadium? is it because of LSU?

I highly doubt Tulame will have a football program in the next 3-5 years anyway. They'd be better off adding Men's sychronized swimming....I'd draw a bigger crowd than their football games do.
