Also, the transitive property doesn't really work in college football, but it is kinda funny how some LSU fans are wagering their Tiger-egos on how UW does against USC as opposed to how LSU did.

In their defense (as a fellow arguer of how the transitive property doesn't really work), it will provide the first indication of UW is a good team or not.

And it matters because accurate or not, posters like brdcstr will find excuses to marginalize it if UW plays you close, but will turn around and never let it go if you guys blow that game wide open.

Instead, all PAC 10 teams play EVERYONE in conference, which actually makes it TOUHGER to get to the BCS games as it adds up to more losses for the conference overall.

While I do respect and prefer the Pac-10 system as a way to pick a champion, to claim that it is tougher is silly. Take it from LSU's perspective....so because you have to play everyone once (most of which won't be ranked at season's end or will be 15+), it is harder than having to play UF twice in order to win the conference?

I don't think LSU will have to worry about it this season, V.
But I will grant you that LSU has a much more difficult schedule than Florida. Theirs is a joke. In the PAC 10, most teams schedule at least 2 good OOC games (vs BCS or Mtn West) and then have to play each team in the conference. Also, most PAC 10 teams don't play 8 home games like the SEC teams do. I know some people in the SEC undervalue home field advantage, but in my opinion, in certain venues, it is worth more than the 3 points Sagarin credits it with.
