It is a terrible mascot. The cajun that used to be at the field was much better as well as the bull dog. We always called the new mascot a flaming dildo

it's a chilli pepper. And, i'm not sure why they changed it. but, as i stated yesterday, the chilli pepper would not get as much criticisim as a coonass running around in white rubber boots and a link of boudin in his mouth.

I can not find any pics. of the orig. cajun mascot but it was an animated outfit similar to that of the wake forest demon deacon. ULL was the bulldogs until 1963 when the coach started calling the team the ragin cajuns. The following year the school mascot was changed to the ragin cajuns.

it's a flaming red penis with a grin. Original version had to be re-done, true story, it was scaring the kids.
