The "great" 2006 team only beat vandy by 17, a Vandy team that probly won't be as good as this years vandy. IMO, it's just too early to tell anything about this team, MSU and UGA will answer alot of our questions.

Not disagreeing with the point of your post, but LSU didn't play Vandy in 2006. We beat them by 17 in 2004, and that team was the worst LSU team of the decade until last year. We needed a big return from Skyler to put the game away.
In 2005 we beat them by like 24 I think in Nashville. D dominated.

A 9-3 team that lost in the Cap One Bowl was worse than an 8-5 team that lost in the Cotton Bowl?
