I do it every single day I am out of state.

unless I'm at a Phish concert - but the exception to that is if the concert is at the UT arena

I get the random Florida fan or Bama fan trying to give me shite when I wear my LSU golf shirt to work. I just make sure to make them wait till last to be waited on

My son travels the world, literally, in his job with Marriott. He is always garbed in LSU tees, shirts, etc. and always welcomed with smiles and comments of welcome and admiration. He has seen LSU caps and tees in Hong Kong, India, the Caribbean, etc. and they are all kin in their love of the Tigers!! He always gets a high five or a "Go Tigers".

I can't recall getting anything like this. In fact it's usually just the opposite, I have had people buy myself and Mrs. Brusly's dinner in Atlanta. I have had a great time in Jacksonville, FL with a large group of GA, Florida and Florida State fans at a bar on Sundays watching the Saints play. The most unusual would have to be the gumps I ran into in San Fransisco that I had drinks and dinner with because I "Tiger Baited" them on Fisher Wharf.

Only problem I've ever had with it was in 2003, and I went with some family to the Egg Bowl and wore my LSU stuff (on Thanksgiving night after Eli fell down the previous Saturday). No problems before the game, but it was a blowout at halftime and I walked under the stadium to get out of the rain and several ole miss fans tried to start some stuff, but the State fans were all chanting L-S-U, L-S-U, which was actually pretty cool.

I have never had this happen, in almost 25 years living out of LA, & I probably wear LSU gear 75% of the time on weekends.

Maybe it's you.

Have never had this with LSU or the Saints. Thought I might get something with my LSU FB helmet hitch cover in Gulf Shores, but not a peep.

I wear mine up and down the West Coast and don't really get shite. I tiger baited this lil' 3 year old with UGA gear on last year. I did it in a very friendly non confrontational manner and the dad thought it was funny!

I wear my National Championship hat to UK games. Last year the Arkansas fans sneered a little but then I can understand that. UK fans don't get too upset they tease me though.

To the contrary - I wear my LSU cap almost everywhere and it's a good conversation starter. I get alot of comments from other SEC folks (got a "War Eagle" from a new neighbor a couple of days ago - started a great conversation with him).

In general I get complements and pretty good comments most the time. One the way back from New York to Atlanta last week, the stewardess gave me free drinks because I had an LSU t-shirt on.

Not a problem here in Colorado: CU, CSU, and AFA--there's no college football played in this state.....

I did get some crap when I sat in the left field bleachers for a Cubs game with an LSU hat on. But those idiots will find just about anything rag on somebody. Fans in Chicago are the worst.

My question is how much of the stuff do people own. I saw people in Wednesday all over Seattle all decked out - presumably they had p and g clothes for every day they were here?
