this crew has to be the worst in the league. the flag they called on Sharper for a personal Foul was wrong. He pushed johnson down not touching him in the head

And calling Johnson out at the 3 was a terrible call as well, wasn't even close.

Yep. If they were going to call a phantom penalty as a make-up to the Lions, they could have called a more believable one.

There have been several really bad crews today. at least they did not cost us the game.

There was like 5 make up calls after they called Johnson out at the 2...they new they screwed that one up and they were going to do everything in their power to make sure Detroit scored on that drive...if not Sed Ellis' fumble recovery stands

Not just the bad calls but listening to Mike Carey butcher the english language was rough too. Including such gems as, "Detroit will be challerged... challen... charged a timeout. P-p-p-p-please reset the game clock to 11:55" and "The ball will spotted at the ffffffifffty-five yard line."

ditto, bad crew on a whole. I know Carey was bad in the past too. I dunno if they keep them together like teams. It's a strange thing to me that as big as the NFL is and as much rides on the calls that they are still part time employees that have other day jobs. I'm surprised there is no website that reviews them so fans could have an idea of what is coming. I've read some statistics that reveal how great the disparity is in how tight different crews call games. Some consistently have high holding counts for example and others very low. Something like knowing how tight of a strike zone an ump has would be interesting to publicize.

They held the game up by all of their indecision and bad calls that had to be reviewed. This crew is terrible!
