I'll start:

I'm afraid Miles has lost his ability to take charge of a team, aside from pregame emotional speeches.

I don't see it that way. I don't think you're on one side of the fence or the other; nor can you play both sides. I see it as I am totally lost right now on whatever gameplan we have set in place. Am I supposed to think that we're one of the following:

a) young and improving
b) intentionally vanilla
c) not that good
d) UW and Vandy are bowl teams
e) on our way back
f) on our way out

I don't know what to think

Nope. A Negatiger is someone who never has anything good to say and all they do is complain. I mean, we won 2 games. I don't know what is going to happen if we finally lose one. This board will definitely be fuming.

With that being said, I'm afraid of Gary Crowton being too conservative throughout the season and keeping the handcuffs on JJ and the offense. I mean, I can understand being conservative the first game of the season and also in rainy conditions. However, if we are going to run the spread, why be conservative? Isn't that actually defeating the purpose of the spread offense?

Our Dline will be dominated vs good SEC Teams.

And Oline for that matter.

I'm afraid that RR wont get the touches he needs and the touches other young talented recruits would like to see the best offensive player in the country to get coming in as a fresh

I am AFRAID that the nitpickers , the bandwagoneers, the half-glassers , and the downright ignorant have actually , after 35 years of LOVING LSU football, succeeded in making it a STRESSFUL, rather than JOYFUL event.

The Rant is WAY worse than the PT now.

Now we're talking....I sense the pain coming out of you tiger fans.

Here's another one:

I am afraid to admit that we will lose 5 games. I hope to high heaven that I am wrong, but UGA, UF, Ole Miss, Bama, and maybe even Auburn could beat us. I will always tell the average Joe that we are a 9-3 or 10-2 team, but part of me has the 7-5 team on my brain.

The Secondary which has been the only bright spot on our D, will collapse in big time situations, leaving JJ, a soph, to command an Offense in a must-win situation.

I definitely agree with these two teams being bowl eligible. I'm sure we are going to find out alot about UW when USC comes to town. If USC isn't careful, Jake Locker is probably going to pick their secondary apart just like he did ours. Then, I'm sure these negatigers will surely understand that maybe UW is better than advertised.

I am afraid that Florida will underestimate us when we kick their arse in October.

LSU has toyed with the first two teams we played and was never in any real doubt of losing either game. I expect the same type of play on Saurday (minus the sloppy tackling) as we wax ULALA.

The real season starts Oct 3rd....until then, we;ll get spoon fed the vanilla offense with the reigns on it

LSUpimp, I do not belong in that group. I am as loyal as any in the big 3 sports. This is not about me being negative. This is about me expounding upon my fears of this football team. I always find joy in football. It's just a game and it's only stressful while it's being played. Nevertheless, for me to pretend that everything is going "according to plan" would be ludicrous. No one in his right mind can actually say that their expectations of the young '09 season have been exceeded.

PiscesTiger, I too was kind of disappointed the first game of the season. However, I knew that UW wasn't going to be a push over and that Jake Locker is definitely one of the 3 best quarterbacks we play this year. I also know that we did not play up to our potential. The Vanderbilt game showed me a thing or two about our defense at times. We still were able to get pressure for the most part. At times, I thought we overrun the play, once we were in their backfield. Not to mention, that Levar Edwards was a beast. There are definitely some postives we can take away from the two games. I'm just happy that we are 2-0.
