"Ranters, Bama is not that impressive"

Wow! I just can't believe the hype that Bama is receiving and stating that they would destroy LSU. Don't you all remember that their 4-year starter JP Wilson barely beat us in overtime? So, how do you think a first year starter is going to destroy us. One thing is that their defense is suspect as well. The gameday crew hyped everyone in the nation up by talking about how good their defense was after the VT game. What? Come on, VT still scored 20+ points on them. Not to mention that the Florida Atlantic or whatever that 1AA team is called scored on them tying the game earlier. I'm sorry, but I have to believe that LSU has an advantage over this team. We have both improved at the quarterback position and defensively. In fact, the only real advantage they have is home field. McElroy is not that good. Trust in the tigers!

"We won last week against a top 10 team and we won tonight by 26. God, we really do suck.
Last week we held Virginia Tech to 155 yards total offense and tonight we held Florida International to 222 yards total offense (a fifth of that coming on one play)...our defense is terrible.
Offensively, we've put up a total of 1013 yards in two games. We have three backs capable of going for 100 yards on any given Saturday. We had a receiver tonight not named Julio put up 100 yards receiving in the first half. McElroy rebounded to lead us to victory in the second half last week and tonight, he completed 75% of his passes for 244 yards. Our offense is downright embarrassing."
Honestly, if we better our kickoff coverage and stop allowing the special teams to give the ball at the 40, we'll be alright. The defense is as good as advertised and the offense isn't that bad either.

McElroy may not look like much but his numbers arent horrible so far. LSU has a history of making shittastic qbs look good too.

I understand the sentiment that we may lose to Bama
I'm completely dumbfounded at the notion that we'll lose to UGA. UGA should be 0-2 right now, and they lost to a team that just lost to Houston. UGA is not good.

I do give Bama credit for beating VT because I definitely respect Beamer ball. However, negatigers act like we played two division 1AA teams or something. We have played against 2 good teams thus far, who in my opinion, will both be bowl eligible this season. Do we have our weaknesses? Sure we do. However, there are currently only 2 teams out there who I believe are more dominant then we are thus far. Those 2 teams are Florida and Texas. I still give us a chance against any other team including USC and Ohio State. This LSU team will exceed our expectations!

LSU has the talent and potential, but there comes a point where talent and potential can only take you so far when you're being dragged down by coaching.
I won't be the type to say Miles won with Saban's players because it doesn't matter, he won. But it seems Miles is feeling increasing pressure with the resurgence of Alabama. He's 2-0 this season and yet if you read this forum, it seems that LSU should be 0-2.
