will this be used as to why Jefferson is again not allowed to go downfield?
Or why we went up the gut so much?

Bingo....you nailed it. Last week was the first game, so we didnt put the ball in the athletes hands. This week its rain, just another excuse.
He will continue to find excuses when we win. Until we lose, Leslie is gonna continue with this Vanilla BS. Its gonna take a loss to get him to figure out he needs to get the ball to the athletes.

with this much talent i think it all comes down to coaching and team preperation...but that's just me

If it does rain as much as they are anticipating then I sure as hell hope that JJ isn't taking many shots down the field. That would be insane.

is he really looking for excuses for who he does and doesnt play? i really think some people actually believe coaches wring their hands because " the fans are upset" i could be wrong though .... he said he really cares.les wouldnt lie ..... right?

It's pretty normal for teams to throw less in a downpour.

Wow.
Complaining about something before its even happened. That's a new low.
Reminds me of an ex-girlfriend who would imagine possible negatives that could happen and then whine about their eventuality.

Usually people wait until after the game to bitch about how the coach failed to make every decision exactly as they wished, WHEN they wanted it and using WHAT players...

I think I'm dating her now.
Saban made a good point one time about the offense having a big advantage on a wet field because they know where they're going and the defense is just reacting. So DBs are more likely to slip than WRs. However, if it's actually pissing rain, then wet balls and visibility come into play. Still, you have to pass at least some to keep the defense honest.
