Jim's been behind the mike since 1983. Old timers like myself remember John Ferguson.

Even though I'm one of the few who actually like Jim Hawthorne, I still think of Ferguson as the voice of the Tigers.

I can still hear him talking about the exploits of Willie Teal, Charles Alexander, and Hokie Gajan.

John Ferguson and Walter Hill. Before JF the voice of the Tigers was JC Politz.
