Stop with this talk. This isn't the fricking NFL. We should be able to beat Vandy by at least 3 TD's. I don't care if they were a bowl team or if they are improved. If we are the kind of program we think we are, then we should dominate them, no questions asked. To think otherwise, well, you would probably be the kind satisfied with 7-5 or 8-4 type seasons.

Oh, sorry I speak the truth. Talent level isn't even close. And judging by salary, we think our coaches are a lot better. Shouldn't even be a contest.

Ohio St. won a NC in 02 with a "win is a win" mentality

I only hope our coaches and players can live up to the standard set by a champion like you.

in retrospect losing Pelini and not really having a DC last year really knocked down our Defense and it showed last week. We have a long way to go and as a fan base we dont have the patience to get there. (With good reason I might add.) Louisiana is fertile with big time recruits next year and if we don't show rapid improvement we will open the flood gates to the likes of $abun and Kitten. We all know the only thing harder than being at the top is staying there. Having said that I'm hoping Miles can get his staff and players back to aggressive football we have all become use to. As of now I think he will and if he does not it will not be for lack of effort on his part.

guess you dont buy into the "its just a game" or "the sun will come out tomorrow" attitude either?? Some of you take this to extremes. I love LSU dont get me wrong, but you sound like your going to lose your house if LSU doesnt go undefeated. And a win is in fact a win, no matter how you slice it. Just like a loss is a loss, cool huh?

Grow UP. This is college football. You are not going to beat every team by 30 points. Every team LSU plays will see thier best effort. NO way we beat this VANDY team by 30. I hope so but not realistic, It has nothing to do with LSU's performance Saturday. Vandy is coached really well and they are not the same Vandy team 6,7, or 8 yrs. ago.

Good luck trying to get that point across to some of the "all-knowing" fans.

I agree as well. There are still a lot of intangibles not only in our team but in most teams after week 1. Still too early to do any type of judging in my opinion. Of course, there is very rarely perfection in any aspect of the game so this leaves room for people to comment on where we need to improve which is perfectly understandable. But after a WIN, people make comments like a lot have here today! Get a clue! If you don't have anything good to say about LSU football then shut the hell up. What good does that do for our program? You are a cancer for the LSU fan base and it's TRUE supporters. I'm so sick and tired of the negativity, ESPECIALLY AFTER WE OPEN OUR SEASON WITH A WIN!
