Ok, so I picked up Reggie as a late pick RB reserve. Is he looking to be the man this year, or will he continue to be a risky choice as fantasy football goes?

He was leading the league in touchdowns for the first 6 games last year before he got hurt. If he stays healthy there is no reason to think he can't put up huge fantasy numbers.

Will he still be on return duty? (I know he returned, but was he on kickoff and punts, or just punts?)

I'm really leary of starting him right now, and it would take tons of convincing to put him over Forte and Slaton at any week.
How many carries do you think he'll lose to Pierre every game, though?

Look and see who the bears and texans play week one. If they have tough matchups, you may consider starting reggie. Its the lions.

Who is your WR/RB slot guy?

I'd be hesitant to put Reggie in over Slaton/Forte

My league plays
1 QB (Rodgers, Edwards)
1 RB (Forte, Slaton, Bush)
2 WR (V. Jackson(SD), Ochocinco, Bowe, Cotchery, L. Moore)
1 TE (Gates, D. Lee(GB))
1 RB/WR/TE
1 K (Folk)
1 D/ST (Minnesota)

So would I. I took Reggie as a "who knows" sorta pick in the 6-8 round area. I figured I'd come here since I've already got a profile and I figured ya'll would be the best to ask.

Oh, and I also would like to know what you think of Lance. I wasn't sure if I should get Devery or Moore...

If you're in a ppr lance is your best bet. Also hell probably be better than devery on the season.

he should have 18-20 touches per game when healthy

8-10 carries
6-8 catches
and 2 punt returns

normally what he gets a game with pierre and now mike bell running the ball. but i wouldnt start him yet until you see the first game

Pierre will get more touches I think. But you never know until the games start. But I definitely wouldnt start him over forte or slaton unless he just morphs into this all world back and turns into a Brian Westbrook type guy.

Are you in a PPR league? Do return yards get counted?

Well, we are talking week 1 right now. Reggie is said to look 100% and noone is sure about Pierre. Look for a healthy dose of Reggie and Bell this week. Houston is playing the Jets and Chicago is playing Green Bay. Not sure what you want to make of that, but Reggie is looking ok vs. Detroit.

Ok, so I just saw that Pierre is out for this game. With that being the case, how many touches does Bush lose to the next RB? He's looking like a better pick by the day, but it's still tough to put him in the place of Forte or Slaton...I just don't know what to do.

Forte is tough not to start. Even though he is playing Green Bay, who has a tough Def., but he should get the start. Your problem is do you think Reggie is gonna do better against Det than Slaton against the Jets. If you could guarantee that Reggie is going to be 100% against Det, he would be the better start. However, I think Slaton would be your safer start. So, my guess is Forte and Slaton because of Reggie's uncertain health status.

That really sucks. I'm sitting here wanting to start Reggie because he has such an upside in every game, but I just don't know if the reward is worth the immense risk.

if its a PPR league I'd start Reggie over Slaton, Slaton has looked terrible in the preseason, after adding that extra weight from last year.

It's not. .1 pt per yard. Standard league.

Hey, go with your gut. Its your team. I If you think Reggie is gonna go off...then start him over Slaton.

I've played in both, but I've had .1 more often. But I mean...A half a point for each yard is basically the same as a point for every 10 yards. You just get credit for everything instead of almost everything.
