got there thurs got home today.
The game and gameday was worst part of the trip.
LSU taligate party sucked.
SEC road trips as far as the atmosphere/tailgat5ing/partying goes, blows UW out of water.
Seattle is clean, very friendly town.
No scumbag cabdrives, no a-hole degenrate bums or thugs... actually this may be the biggest "white people" area I've ever been to, trumphs Liv Parrish.
Friday was awesome, good weather all day.
Food in seattle doesnt compare to La.
Have a lot of local brews like abita here in louisiana, good beer still partial to our abita though.
They have bunches of coffee shops.
Hippies are well represented there.
Those mountains(ranier, helena) are bigger than you can imagine.
If I had to guess Id say 10-12k LSU fans were there.
Only thing I have to say about the game is we won... Im gonna watch replay tonight.
Also UW stadium sucks, there are some older fat LSU fans that I saw and i just wonder how the hell they made it up to their seats in top of stadium.
Good trip, but expesnsive one.
Not in any hurry to go back to that part of the country for another LSU game.

Home cooking it really doesn't. As far as restaurants go Seattle blows every city other than NOLA out of the water, which it should considering the size differences.

There are TONS of microbreweries in the Seattle area, and they're almost all better than Abita.

I take it you've never been to Salt Lake City.

The cities of New York and San Francisco would like a word with you.

One word: Chicago.

I guess assuming that anyone on this board would be able to READ BETWEEN THE LINES was a mistake. We were comparing Seattle to Louisiana food. The statement implied every other city in LOUISIANA.

Yea, you right bout the Hippies. There was an Obama 08 sticker on every car. The People's Republic of Seattle was very cool though. We had a great time at the LSU tailgate except they underestimated the crowd size. Only one beer truck, WTF.

OP was probably on the wrong side of the stadium...
Husky Stadium has a great tailgating tradition, wth were you?

Two words, "The Ram" bar game day was unbelievable.
The beer trucks cause they kept running out of beer was hilarious. The bar manager, said, yea we were ready for "youz guys"............

As opposed to the very conservative Livingston Parish where they still think dumping appliances on the side of the road and keeping junk cars around is ok. Not to mention the unkempt houses and high grass.
I am pretty conservative, but based on my visit to Seattle, I have to wonder what all of us in the bible belt are doing wrong when I see the education level/quality of living/and overall very clean state of things in a place like Seattle.

NY, SF/Napa, Chicago and NO are the best restuarant cities in the US. Philly, Boston and Miami can fight for the next spot.

Now, Now! Here is a guy that stated he spent a bunch of money to attend a game in "the whitest area he has seen". This done while following a bunch of mostly black student-athletes. Why did that even have to be brought into the conversation?

I'm pretty glad I never ran into you, damn!
So....it is impossible for a white person to be a degenerate bum or a thug?
Wow. Dumb. First of all...Abita isn't that good, man. Second of all...I'll take a nice salmon steak over some fricking mudbugs any day.

Correcto. Seattle has a great eating culture. I guess if Tony's isn't involved it must suck.
