He could easily be referring to the calls be correct but the players not making the plays. If you go back and look at the tape, poor tackling and Hawkins in ability to run support due to not getting off the blocks accounted for nearly half of Washington's yardage. Beyond that the places we got burmed were Washington's perfect call during a blitz and the dreaded prevent defense to end the game.

The Advocate article was a tad of a contradiction. He says he doesn't get what is Miles is saying that at times he saw the Defense LSU should have.

Then later on the writer admits that during the second half the defense adjusted fairly well.

DUH that is what Miles was talking about

More poor Miles quotes. He says something dumb and imbeds a tiny line of truth into the overall statement which makes him look even dumber every time he does it. He is trying to say the defense was set up to make plays, but they didn't execute and tackle properly. All of which is true, but to even include the line in your statement "the defense did an outstanding job", just shows that you are a poor speaker and do not understand the impact your words can have on others when they read them. This is why he is always being questioned, he can't formulate a statement correctly.
