Give Washington some credit

They came ready to play.
The W defense isn't that good, IMO...But
The W offense could be very good. Running backs run hard and fast, Locker is very accurate and a competitor.
The coaching staff had W ready to go. The body language on Sarkisian's face showed he didn't expect to win the game, but was hoping to not be embarrassed on national television, he wasn't.
I'm sure that with better defensive skill players W could be much better.
The fact that Tolliver left the W's corner's jock on the ground twice isn't comforting for the W coaching staff....Because when you get beat man on man, and that's what you are playing...it's going to happen again and again and again...
I thought the crowd was in the game the entire time and I especially liked the defensive line dancing at the end of the game...it showed they want to improve.
Too bad for W they were playing LSU that could literally sleep walk through the game and still win. We've got the horses...we simply need them all to pull the wagon together.
I wouldn't trade one LSU player for any W player...even Locker, who is a stud, IMO.

I agree. Washington is where LSU was post Dinardo. Some skill players but the need for a full cupboard.
Washington won't be an 0-12 team this year...My guess is they will be 7-5.

I gave UW credit before the game and expected their offense to have a good game.
But NOT that good!
I looked at the prediction thread all week and it must have been the vast majority were calling for 30+ point victory and if they took the time to read how UW's new attitude and new improvement just in their conditioning they would have know better.
That and how we had to break in a new defense that lacks in certain areas.
I won't call his name out, but somebody on the prediction thread couldn't believe some tards were calling for UW to score in the 20-point range.

Agree WHOLEHEARTEDLY. That's what I've been screaming for the past day. They have the right man for the job (coach). They won't be world beaters this year but I see them making a bowl game and I see Locker in the NFL, starter or not.

Wash. played VERY WELL and fired all of their guns. Bet they beat Idaho, and the SC game will be REAL interesting, no?

UW would do very well to win 4 or 5 games this season. They just don't have the personnel to compete for a conference title yet, and in the PAC you don't duck anybody.

Don't let LSU fans see this. That will take away from the luster of them thinking they beat a top ten team.

This I agree with.

This is where a lot is lost in translation. It's not that LSU fans think we beat a top ten team. It's that LSU fans (some) realize that we played sloppy but won in a situation that was a trap the size of Texas. New coach, rejuvenated team and fanbase, and starving for victory to gain respect and national exposure. Washington just might have given LSU their best shot of the whole season. I have a feeling the USC game is going to be interesting. But to go back to your point, no LSU fan feels as though Washington is a top ten opponent. I don't know where you're getting that from other than over-exaggerating.

I vaguely remember somebody posting about UW having a bunch of recruits at the game. That sort of atmosphere and opponent should get kids interested in going up there to play for Sark.
UW will get better as soon as the blue chippers start rolling into Seattle.

OG - Nick Rowland
RB - Jordon James
CB - Demetrius Wright
DB - Joshua Shaw
RB - Deontae Cooper
MLB - Victor Burnett
OT - Cody Innes
And a lot of other kids. Different reports say there was between 20 and 50 recruits at the game.
