Which Freshman surprised you?

I was surprised to see how well Josh Downs played last night. I have heard all of the hype and after last nights performance, he made a believer out of me. Glad he's a Tiger.

didn't really see any other freshman play besides randle on a couple of plays and losman on special teams.

I think Downs was the only one that got appreciable PT, and he looked good. He's so quick coming off the ball. He just has to get stronger, and he's going to be a force. He and Davenport are going to be a good combo.
