it took about 2 seconds to get in range. He immediately stopped, turned, walked, and punched. There was no hesitation.

no, he went up to Blount and hit him on the shoulder and yelled shite. Even his own coach knew b/c he grabbed the Boise player and spun him as the punch was coming....hence why he was turned.
