Funny to say this, since we've had strong DL play since 2002, but our starting DT's are worrisome in my opinion.

If Jefferson is throwing the ball well, it's not going matter much what UW does, IMO. Their best shot, as you say, is to load the box to stop the run and hope the passing game sputters.

Our defensive line is unproven, including the DE's against the run. LB play remains to be seen, also. But if UW can't run the ball, our DE's are good pass rushers and we have some serious talent in the secondary (Peterson and C. Jones in particular). Long day for UW if they can't run the ball some.
