Mushin Muhammed
Had decent numbers last year, but I think the whole team is down this year. IMO, he's solid and gets lots of freebies when teams double-team Smith.
quote:

Michael Clayton
Is supposed to be in the starting line-up per what I read earlier in the preseason. I'm an LSU homer all the way, but IMO the Bucs are the bottom of the league. Nothing against Leftwich, really, but I'd skip.

Limas Sweed
I like the way he looked early on in the preseason. But the difference here is that he's a No. 3, and Mushin is on the field most plays. In a run-first offense like Pittsburgh, do you really want the third guy? If you can't stay away from speedy, check Nate Washington's #s from last year. I think that's what you can expect from Sweed.

Joey Galloway
Another No. 3 v. a No. 2 in Mushin, but here you're talking top of the league as opposed to top of the bottom of the barrell. The spread it around in Foxboro, so there's a little for everyone, but not a lot for anyone except Moss and Welker. Not the worst option, but not the best on this list IMO.

Kevin Curtis
I wouldn't do it. Dude just continues to disappoint. I like Jackson on that team, but Curtis does nothing for me.
quote:

Isaac Bruce
Another possibility if he's the No. 2 guy. I'd put him just slightly behind Mushin in potential production.

Johnnie Lee Higgins
I got nothing.

Edit: Deion Branch. Could be a total bust or decent production. I guess he's No. 2 technically, but does he have the speed, which is what they need from him? Remember, they've got Housh as the possession receiver and Carlson, too. Burleson is supposed to be the distant guy. Where does that leave Branch?

Good luck. You've got a few options here. You'll get someone decent.

A few more names you might be able to find off waivers:

Ronald Curry
Bryant Johnson
Brandon Stokely (Gaffney injured and Marshall behaving badly)
Troy Williamson (had a good preseason)
Craig Davis

At first I thought you meant 20 team league, but after seeing your team, there's no way.

Now, I understand that you mean each team has twenty players. Out of curiosity, how many teams? Also, how many WR's do you start?

ETA: You may want to trade someone better than Hillis to get a real WR (or possibly 2). You have a ton of RB depth, but no WR's to speak of. You don't need another waiver wire scrub, but a number 1 (or at least #2) WR.

Burleson is the #2 and is really the #3. Carlson is the 2nd option.
