Smartest - Chick-Fil-A. Hands down. I think this company goes out of it's way to hire intelligent, courteous, quality individuals. The only time I ever had a problem there was once when they didn't have any coffee made...and then they were extremely apologetic, and gave me a couple of coupons for free biscuits for my inconvenience.

Dumbest (and nobody else even comes close) - Burger King. On the other end of the scale, I believe THIS company goes out of it's way to hire the Cro-Magnons of the world. I swear, the IQ of the average BK employee has GOT to be hovering in the 75-80 range. And this is not isolated to just a few stores, either...it's virtually every BK I've ever been to in my 43 years.

Good point. Might have to rethink my whole "nobody even comes close" stand on BK.

I'd have to say Church's falls in this category w/ Popeye's as well.

Inspired by the long wait at the BK drive-thru this morning. Won't make that mistake again.

is "smart fast food worker" an oxymoron?

I'd give Chick-Fil-A the "friendliest award.

And definitely Popeyes is the worst of the worst..

I've never seen worse than Popeyes. I never wait longer at a fast food place than at Popeyes and I've never seen a group of employees (including management) that just don't seem to care.

I drove up to their drive through once and the girl said she'd be right with me (even though no one was in front of me). 15 minutes (I'm not exaggerating) go by and finally I drive up to the window and the worker is just leaning against the wall talking. I told her I'd been waiting and she laughed at me and said "Whoops." I spoke with the manager who also didn't care. Then I called corporate who sent me a letter saying the district manager would be contacting me. Never heard from them either.

On another note, Dairy Queen in Central is pretty atrociously slow also.

Smartest: Sonic. Not one time have I ever received the wrong order or had bad service from them.

Dumbest: Subway. I mean how fricking hard is it to make a sandwich that I'm telling you to make while standing right in front of you? A little mustard does not mean, squirt half a fricking bottle on it

The worst is definitely Taco Bell, followed by Burger King and Wendy's

Smartest --> Smothie King or coffee places

Retards that don't deserve to breed or breath --> Jack in the Box and BK

It is always pull forward and we bees bringin it round tere. 10 mins later they'll bring it out. I swore I'd never go to the one on Sherewood again.

The one on Essen has this stoned out of his mind lookin braided hair guy who basically just rambles incoherently at a volume that the bionic woman couldn't hear....then he's surprised when the order is not even close to right.

Smartest - McAlister's. Although they are usually pretty busy, they keep the line moving and are quick with the food. Never had any problems there.
Dumbest - KFC. After waiting in line at the drive thru and then ordering with the possibly dumbest person alive, I almost lost it when I made it to the window

Not really. I'm speaking in relative terms.

I've noticed that Chick-Fil-A hires a lot of HS kids who actually have the gumption to break away from the Xbox 360 and get a job.

This is why the Walker location is the Twilight Zone where they actually can put chicken that is ALREADY cooked in a box in less than 15 min.

I have simlpy never understood why those retards at other locations simply take 15 min to load 8 pieces of chicken into a box when the chicken is just sitting there.. The florida location past Sharp is the worst.

The good news is...they're all getting raises !!!

so they can be paid more to screw up the orders !

Jack in the box in Baton Rouge is pretty unbelievable.

I went to the one on Burbank a while back and pulled up to the drive through, tried to order and the girl said 'We closed, ain't no workers here'
