vanimal...I'm in the same boat. Been up here in "heaven" for 2 years now and haven't found a LSU spot yet. The chicken coop in West Des Moines is where the Nebraska Alum watch games. Seems to be a good crowd. They respect the program and cheer for us thanks to Bo - and the food isn't bad.

I don't live in Des Moines but I have been there. They do have a buffalo wild wings. Also you can buy a fifth of Hawkeye whiskey at walmart for $6.75. Just please do yourself a favor and mix that stuff; dont drink it straight

just got back from Des Moines a couple weeks ago. My son won the gold medal in 15 year old taekwondo junior olympics black belt sparring. It was a nice town. Lots of good places to drink IPA on draft there. Ofcourse, had my son lost, I may have a whole different take on Des Moines.
