ETA: is Nina going to be there this season? i heard rumors she wasn't but i can't remember what the final verdict on that was

The lack of support for one of the most important shows in the history of television is depressing.

I will be posting my reviews after watching again this season!

The lack of PR support on this board is upsetting me. This needs to change asap!!!

With that being said, here is my first review of the season:

My favorite and the winner:



I absolutely loved the fun and flirtiness of this dress! The texture treatment makes for a beautiful visual.

My least favorite and the one that got voted off:



When this chick said that she doesn't sketch her designs - she meditates to get the feel of them - I knew that it was going to be bad. The judges definitely voted the right person off this week as this "VMA's 2080" dress was a freaking trainwreck! Then again, Lelo was a guest judge this week. I'm surprised that didn't love the fellow trainwreck!

Good avant garde designs still have a prettiness to them. This was just ugly.

Other designs that I really liked:



I thought that this dress was adorable. I loved the sequined trim work in the back.



I loved the shape and style of this dress, but wasn't crazy about the color choices. A little too muted for my taste.

Bad decisions:



The back of this dress was actually gorgeous and I really loved the royal purple that she used. I have no idea what she was thinking when she designed the front of it! It's absolutely awful!

But the real question of the night is:



Is this a male or a female? You can definitely tell that this person is inspired by androgynous clothing!

You are probably right. I have no idea what the premise of Project Runway is, but I saw ads with Heidi Klum and based on the title, I assumed it had something to do with fashion models.

Thank God that crazy broad Ari got kicked off, she was horrible.

Overall, it seems like there are many talented designers this season. I'm gonna need another week or two to pick my faves

I actually agreed w/ LL when she said the color was "safe" on this one. I would have liked it much more if he would have taken a little risk w/ the color

So how long you ladies think Mitchell will make it? I say he will go very soon. His maternity outfit actually was a cute concept, but horrible in the execution.

Anyone watching Models of the Runway? That Fatma is a ... well. Hoping she isn't the picked one.

I think Irina will be a strong contender as well as the girl with the short black hair.
