Teague, Allen and Company weren't even tested until the playoffs last year when they pulled out a squeaker against Memphis Melrose they stopped Melrose on a 2 point conversion on the last play of the game to win a 1 point decision..( Those Memphis inner city teams would have LOTS of state titles if they worked on the kicking game..NONE of them have an extra point kicker..they just line up and go for two)..The next week in the semi-finals..with injuries to some key players they lost to eventual state champ Nashville Hillsboro.
I talk to my old offensive line coach who is at Henry County and he says Allen played at about 270 and was FAST..talked to some guys who officiated Henry County's games and they said he just punished people..He was a player who was UT all the way until he committed, Fulmer never called him again and LSU got a good player.
Teague has worked his way up to second team WR because of injuries...
The Sims and McFerrien kid are both D-1 prospects...Henry County played in 4A last year but moves to 5A this year which is Tennessee's largest class. The private school's have their own league and own state title playoff. Lots of talent up in "Hank Jr Country"..
