sorry not sure what the proper name is for these.. but all around the stadium (painted in purple) are the entry/exit portals to the stadium.
In many locations around the stadium there are actually seats enclosed within the top part of the portal (surrounded by the purple painted concrete).
are these "special".. come at a higher cost? etc? whats the story with those.

pretty sure that's where medical volunteers sit, at least that's where they sat in the student section last year.

I was always told that they were called vomitory seats, and I believe they are sold in blocks of 8

i think some of them have a medical symbol (red cross) but the dont all have those.
i see a girl my brothers knew WAY back sitting in one. I dont know her but i know she isnt in medical field, and im pretty sure her husband isnt either. i think only a small number of them are medical related seats.

The medical volunteers sit in the one in the student section because no one uses that one. Those aren't the designated seating area for every medical volunteer group stationed around the stadium.

my friend has tickets in one of them. they are just like normal seats. its nice not having people walking past you all game, but the front row is a little tight in those things. great view though.

My aunt and ucle used to site in one of those in the North Endzone. They were cool because you never had to worry about people standing in front of you. They have sense been relocated out of that little box.
I went look at one last season and it look like the wooden floor was about to fall out from under the people.

I could be wrong, but I always thought that those seats were built there because the athletic department saw an low-cost opportunity to "expand" the stadium by a hundred or so seats without really expanding the stadium. IOW, the space was there and not being utilized, so why not put some seats in those holes?
As for the medical crosses, I think those signify that one could find medical resources if they walk through those portals.

I seem to remember in my early years at TS, those were seats for the Boy Scouts who acted as ushers for the game.

Sat in them once or twice as a boy scout.
Don't remember if we always had access but I didn't sit all that much at games.
