Perkins and Siegan in Baton Rouge. Employees are very nice, food is terrific, the famous sweet tea is unreal and great location.
Check it out!

I prefer them to Jason's, but have committed myself to locally owned places. There are better places to get a deli sandwich.

McAllister's is pretty bad IMO. I've been three times and never had a good meal. Food is bland and they skimp you on what's between the bread. Good service is about all they have going for them.

McAllisters is very poor when in comes to food in South Louisiana. Why go their when you can go to so many other places that does not have plastic food. Eat local, the real thing.

I don't know why anybody would eat that mediocre garbage when Maxwell's Market is right down the road.

great location.
Is it downtown? At the overpass? Close to LSU? Is it easy to cross Perkins coming from the hospital? Is it in a shopping center with a dry cleaner, pharmacy and other things lunch people need? Can you walk there from anywhere?

maxwells keeps their lights on by selling groceries, not sandwiches.

Too much traffic on that part of Perkins. The location sucks.
