Magnalite pots

Just bought some magnalite pots. THe roaster has a "rough" finish inside while the other pots are smooth. Is this the way they are supposed to be?

All new Magnalite Pots are made in China. The original factory in Sidney, Ohio has been closed for some years. Someone bought the name and is now getting them produced in China. The current quality cannot come close to the original. If you want the "real thing" go to Ebay or garage sales.

Thought there was some concern awhile back about Magnalite use causing memory loss, but I forget what conclusion they came to.
