Once again, from my good source.
He said he talked to Storm and his high school coach tonight. Storm was pissed off because apparently the coaches did call him today to say his offer is no longer there.
Looks like you can definitely count Storm OUT based on this.

I can't help but feel that this doesn't have, and never HAS had, ANYTHING to do with Lache.
Storm & Lache are as night and day as Drayton Calhoun and Mike Ford.
Neither of them committing would have had ANY bearing on the other IMO.

His dad leaking that would not make the coaches revoke an offer. The harsh reality is they wanted Storm to wait while they could get a feel for a couple other guys ahead of him on the board.
Do you think if someone with a legitimate offer that the coaches really want would have an offer refuted because of a slip up during a press release? I don't for a second.

Call it what you wish, but I don't believe it.
Him staying "silent" just gives the LSU staff flexibility to evaluate more guys ahead of him.

I don't like the way this whole debacle went down.
It's not just that we lost out on a top quality back, but I really think the staff went about this the wrong way.
If you're going to offer a kid a scholarship, it should be unconditional. A kid's offer shouldn't be under the condition that he keep hush hush about it.
Yeah I know recruits often play games like this too, but two wrongs don't make a right. Why should this kid have to pay for other kids' past transgressions?
It's just not cool to see LSU getting involved in this kind of recruiting.
I wish Storm the best wherever he ends up--just not against us.

They did not hold up their end of the deal and pissed off Miles from what his h/s coach said. Sure sounds like we moved on pretty quick after the story was run. Got a new big RB commit, same day Storm's offer is no longer on the table.

Yeah but it becomes a numbers thing where we would already have 3 RB commits and 4 if Lache comes. They're probably thinking about 2011 with Hilliard and Hill.
