Under, he is at best third on the depth chart at QB.

He is going to be used almost primarily in special sets, which are rarely used in scoring opportunities. I don't think you want tiny Russell Shepard getting a snap out of the wildcat formation inside the ten against an SEC defense. He is 3rd on the QB depth chart, and much lower than that if he sees the field at receiver or as a "running back" type. I say under.

Who said they had to come against SEC teams?

Nobody, but the majority of games are against the SEC. Goodness, I'm not putting the guy down. Chill out.

I think 4 or 5 is a realistic expectation. There's no way he has more than 8 TD's. If that's the case, I'll start the Shep for Heisman campaign next summer.

if you think Lee sees more meaningful snaps than Shepard (unless JJ gets injured) you're insane. He'll play, but in mop up duty. Shep will get the "Perrilloux" snaps as the change of pace guy

It was obvious that you were not putting him down. I was pointing out the other 4 games (all horrible) in a response to your SEC defense point.
