Has anyone who sits in non-chairback seats (North/South/Far Upper) received this mailer to lease seatback chairs in TS?

Yes, I sent in in yesterday. $40/seat. I wish they would assess us the $40 and put in real chairbacks.

I think its a great idea. Many other schools have booths where you can rent one. Its a lot easier than hauling your own seat on airplanes.
I have side line seats with permanent chairback but I want the arm rests returned. I know they took them off because of larger fans. There are several around me who's butts never made it to the actual seat. I'm sure they complained so now they all spill over to the seats on either side of theirs.

In the early 1980s, you could rent seatbacks for maybe 50 cents or a buck for home games. They were heavy red metal covered by a thin layer of musty canvas. I always thought they looked like something you'd pick up from an Army surplus store.
In the 1982 Florida State "Fog Game", when people ran out of oranges, stadium cups, and nachos to try to throw on the field, a few of the seatbacks went next. It was surreal to see them flying through the air alongside the oranges in the fog.
That was the last game where you could rent seatbacks.
