I meet him in the past. He is a polite young man. From what i am told he plays on avery bad team.Kinda hard to shine when you are running for your life.Hope we offer he has a big heart.

so were a lot of other receivers that LSU wouldn't take over Reed & Wright.

this is one of those things where I wish we could just let the season play out and then decide who to take between Chitty, Wright, Carter, Fobbs etc...

I think if carter doesn't blaze those 40s like he did then chitty has already been offered. We have two WR spots left and one is held for Reed so Wright is out IMO even if he wanted to commit

Wright is going to be the best of the 3. I think he is a better fit for Texas Tech, but LSU needs a guy that can make catches between the hashes, and Wright is a perfect fit. I think he is capable of developing as a deep threat because he adjust well when the ball is in the air and he is physically a tough match for corners. Cobbs is also a stud, but at this point i favor Wright's athleticism combined with football skills.

It sad to say but it seems several OOS kids want to go to LSU more than Wright does.

I can see A scenario where Wright and Reed are the WR and Carter and Fobbs in the secondary. Man, I would love to get all four of these in-state recruits, but that would leave only a few the open slots. Louisiana would then have the state locked like a drum.

Can anyone think of any other in-state recruits that LSU is really after?

In-state Committed:
D.J. Welter
Houston Bates
Elliott Porter
Jordan Allen
Ronnie Vinson
Eric Reid
Tharold Simon
Nick Jacobs

In-state Possibilities:
Curtis Carter
Travon Reed
Jarrett Fobbs
James Wright

Out-of-State Committed:
Luke Muncie
Justin Hunter
Mike Davis
Brandon Worle
Zach Lee
Cameron Fordham
Sam Gibson
Evan Washington
Justin Maclin
Jamarcus Hardrick

Out-of-State Possibilities:
Lache Seastrunk
Storm Johnson
Travis Dickson

Out0of-State Long Shots
Fre'Shad Hunter
Richard Ash
Ahmad Dixon

I would be happy with any 25 of these 28 recruits. This would not be out of the realm of possibilities.
