opposing fans have laid off the insults; you remember, he's dumb, he's lucky, he's goofy, the program will be in the toilet soon, etc.etc.?
it almost seems like the loudest critisisms (from opposing fans) come after the better seasons. as i read other message board from the SEC and others, Miles gets more respect than when he did after we won the 'ship.

After Miles beat Ohio St. for his first national championship, even the clueless had to shutup.
That still may leave a few morons who don't know he won the BCS or don't care, but Miles has proven virtually eveybody wrong.

Could you imagine if he took down the huge favorite in route to an SEC title? It would be wild. FWIW I think we will win the west, but I feel Florida will be the SEC champs.

On local radio here in Bham, the talk is all about Meyer and Saban and they are the two best active coaches in college football. There is some speak of how over rated Reverand Nutt is and then there is the occasional slam of Kiffen and Chizik. I have not heard Miles mentioned at all, but it really doesnt bother me. It was said the other day that in order to be a success in the SEC coaches have to be hard asses like Meyer and Saban. I thought to myself, not really I believe miles is genuinely nice guy and he is successful.

The same goes for us. If we're going to play UF twice, I'd much rather we beat them in Atlanta.
But I won't complain if we get them both times.
And Miles just isn't the hot topic these days. When we get back in the rankings, you'll start hearing more.
