From what I understand, we do get a huge portion of the gate at the Tulane Dome games.
However, I think Skip overestimated the demand for the tickets. The last time we played in the Dome, we didn't see out our allotment, i.e., we left a lot of money on the table.
Our group got something like 20 decent tickets together simply by calling the ticket office and asking them to put our tickets together.
But, I do remember, we didn't even sell our allotment. And, given that and the number of tickets available, I know a lot of people who said they weren't going to order tickets from LSU in the future because they could get "better" tickets a lot cheaper on the secondardy market. Again, this means that LSU will "lose" a lot more money with Tulane games in the future even with lopsided deal with get with Dome games.
So, I would have to agree with Alleva. But, I really don't want to play teams like McNeese or Northwestern. All this talk about "keeping the money in-state" is hogwash. If we pay Northern Colorade $700,000 to come down and get an arse whoopin, and McNeese gets $700,000 to get its arse wooped by the University of Colorado, it's a financial wash.

we need to play Nebraska and see if we can get talks with A&M again. Hell, Southern Miss would be a decent team to play as well. We have a bunch of teams that LSU fans would love to play, but i doubt it happens

As I understand it, it is actually a home game for LSU. If that is the case, then we should expect a big portion of the gate proceeds.

To-lame.... who gives a rat's arse about their insignificant opinions... I love the comments about LSU fans thinking Tulane would bennefit more if they went to the game. That being the reason they "boycotted" the game. Idiots don't realize the main reason was because ESPN (who hates LSU) moved the damn game to 11:30 in the damn morning. While To-lame fans are used to playing games this early when no one is paying attention, we are not. So this is for the To-lamers
