I can remember 2 real brain farts:

1. Ensminger spiking the ball to stop the clock, on 4th down, against Georgia, I think(I used to drink at games, so not positive).

2. Dinardo, or Morris Watts, having Herb Tyler pass (incomplete)on 3rd and 3 against Auburn in '97. Cecil Collins was gaining at will that night and if we make that 1st down we can run out the clock. Lost 31-28.

I'm sure there were others.

Actually, David Woodley was the QB that spiked the ball on 4th down. But, those two are good ones.

I stand corrected, it was the pint of Jack that remembered Ensminger.

No problem. Still a good memory. My Dad always talks about that play really pissing him off, too.

The kick return against Georgia in 2004 when Xavier Carter caught the ball in the endzone, stepped across the goal line and took a knee on the 1. Boy that was a miserable game!

That personal foul against Arkansas last year that gave them a first down instead of punting fairly well pissed me off.

The dumbest play I've ever seen actually happened against LSU at Tiger Stadium.

Erik Ainge, in the 05 Vols-LSU game, was going down for a safety and he literally slung the ball 10 yards in the air for a pick 6.

Honorable mention-Ainge in the fourth quarter of the 07 SECCG.

John Williams's length-of-the-court pass to nobody in the final seconds of the Georgia game 1985(?). It gave the ball to Georgia under their own goal and Cedric Henderson hit the game winner.

All the passes called by Lynn Amadee vs Auburn in 1994.

Prevent zone drop back safe defense on 4th and 10 in OT against Arkansas in 2007. I guess it qualifies as a 'play'.

Brings back some good and bad memories. Great trip - Atlanta and Fogo de Chao, tailgate with the Krewe of Ragoo, then the game. Not a great moment in LSU football history. They kicked the shite out of us.

Saban @ Ole Miss. Instead of deferring we elected to receive the opening kick off.

How about 4 dumb plays.....the four interceptions Jamie Howard threw against Auburn in the 2nd half to lose the game. Why the hell were we passing anyway?

Dinardo electing to go for 2 at Georgia(1998?) after Abram Booty caught a bomb to end the 4th quarter...extra point would have tied it.

Second year in a row we lost to Quincy Carter lead UGA by 1 point
