Hunter or Reed are the only ones but it's a pretty far stretch.

Eric Reid IMO has the best shot but theres still a whole season to play so who knows at this point who could step up and turn heads.

Personally, I think Eric Reid is a freakin stud and hes going to be a hell of a DB in college. (I'm a huge fan of going after taller DB's.) But I think its going to be very hard to "turn alot of heads" playing DB to become a 5-star. Thats just my opinion.

im not as high on him as you....but i think the fact that he has already committed, even though he is being way hyped, will hurt him and his 5* hopes

Tharold Simon got me peaked with that new video of him.

Early commits can gain in status, look at Janzen Jackson.

For what it's worth, a USC guy at another website who's been doing his own rankings for years has had Simon at 11 or so in the nation for months now.

Are you talking about that FV Sports guy (I think)? If so, where can you find his rankings?

I liked that guy's stuff.

Worldofx puts out his rankings almost a year ahead of rivals or scout.

I remember him putting 2010 stuff out before 2009 was even close to being over.

I think he knows his stuff pretty damn well.

lynx, have you seen Simon's new video from his Spring game on Rivals? I remember us talking about him on the TSD board once we first saw his video around the time he committed, but he looks to me like he's gotten much more explosive in his new video.

Agreed. He does.

Very unbiased and logical. He's a good evaluator.

Did you guys check out where he has some Louisiana players ranked? He seems higher on the state's talent than some do, certainly higher than Scout does.

Tyrann Mathieu, James Wright, and Elliot Porter are all in the top 250.

If this guy is a really good evaluator of talent then what does that say about Storm Johnson who is not even a top 25 RB according to his list?
