My guess would be either Warrick Dunn, Manning, or maby McKnight

Either Warrick Dunn, Travis Minor, or Marshall Faulk... I really don't understand how we don't at least get one of those guys.

And I mean McKnight based on the uproar that the state experienced not getting him--not based on performance at the next level (college or pro).

wow i forgot about Ed Reed, he went to the NFL before LaRon was at LSU right? because thinking of the possibility of those two lined up side by side in 03 sounds pretty scary

Wild that two of the three were CHS alums.

Major Applewhite as well. Not on the level of those guys, but a hell of a college QB.

I remember the "major and minor" duo. I got to run track with Dunn. He was a freshman my senior year. Kevin Franklin too.

I'm an '07 grad. You?

I doubt you know Scott Ray? Was he before your time there?

I agree with Ed Reed. From St Rose and he went to The U. Sucked for us.

I went to St. Amant and I vaguely remember Dunn... I went to every game from 4th to 8th grade because that was the only thing to do in St. Amant on Friday nights... Travis Minor was the best High School RB I have ever seen with my own eyes. I can't even tell you how many times my face went into my hands when he got the ball... I think we tackled him 3 times... total.

There have been too many to list. However, what is most troubling to me is the number of misses from Baton Rouge. We missed out on Billy Cannon, Jr., Warrick Dunn and Travis Minor who were can't miss recruits. And there were Bucky Richardson and Major Applewhite who were less heralded as high school players.

Yea I knew Scott. Best High School punt returner I ever saw. I graduated in '90.

Go Bears!
