For many on here, its taken for granted that JJ will play all yr the way he did first half of the two starts he had last season.
Hypothetically speaking lets assume that he struggles... How quick will coaches be to turn it back over to JL......
couple qrtrs, series or two.. bad game, 2 bad games?

Hopefully they'll turn the Shepherd before Lee.

I'm just wondering something after looking at the right corner of my screen.......
Am I going to have to read shite like this on the Rant for the next 69 days, 3 hours, and 42 minutes??

dude, did you miss these words??
HYPOTHETICALLY SPEAKING
ASSUMING
JJ did demonstate how you labeled him above,, however so did JL afer AU and Miss state.
FWIW to think/incinuate/beleive RS goes in over JL is well...
Please dont say that.... it shows how stupid you are.

He showed the ability to protect the football, which is a talent that Lee has never mastered. He also has the ability to make things happen with his feet.

I've commented before, that the irony going into this year, is that J.J. will actually have a shorter leash than J.L. had... for the obvious reason that J.L. has more game experience... not to mention more options at QB with Shep. and/or Garrett. Hopefully, J.J. won't have horrendous moments... but if he does, we're way more prepared for it this year as opposed to last year.

Why would they turn back to Lee? He has shown that he has problems. Jarrett seems like a great guy, but Chris Garrett already looked better than him in the Spring game.

For all you who think that Jarrett Lee is not going to play, you should talk to someone who as been to some practices.
I think you'll be surprised.
Furthermore, it's not by any means a foregone conclusion who will take the bulk of the snaps this year.
I think many on here will be surprised.
Feel free to save this post and throw it back up 5 games into the season.

lol, ok. I couldn't care less about these "insiders" who see 10 minutes of practice.
I saw the spring game. JJ looked great, again. Lee was late with one of his few throws, again.

I think the IF the defense plays up to potential, that the offense will be given a longer leash. With bad QB play last year and a defense that gave up big play after big play the offense seemed to be in a big hole right after the kickoff.

dude, they ran less than 10 offensive plays in the spring game. I'm sure thats a good judge of tallent

Because--and I know this is crazy, but just follow me here--players have been known to actually improve from year to year. Especially freshman quarterbacks.
If Les puts in Lee it will be(barring injury) because he believes that for that day/quarter/drive/play Lee gives LSU the best opportunity to win the game. I have no idea when or if that will happen, but if it does, that will be why.

And Garrett already was showing more poise and decision making than Lee. In one of Lee's four throws (I think the one Toliver caught deep), a better safety than McCray would have intercepted it.
