Do you think JJ would let him clean his sneakers?

Yes, spit polish perferred. Because JJ is goin into his 4th year as a pro and Temple wont even sniff a NBA court.

He is a guard who couldn't score at the college level. I don't know how on earth that would translate positively to the NBA.

I agree that Garrett had some offensive issues, but he didn't take all that many shots either. I think if he finds the right team, he could be a role player.

Garrett could definitely play a defensive specialist role. Probably one of the best defenders in SEC history. He could shutdown most 2 guards IMO.

Because there are defensive specialists in the NBA. Not to mention that pretty much anyone can become a good shooter with enough practice.

I understand you can be a defensive specialist; however, I think an offensive lacking guard is very detrimental to a team. I just remember him being a guy bricking up wide open shots a lot. If he can get to the point where he is money when he is wide open I agree that he can play a role.

There are very few that couldnt do anything else but defend. And the ones that do make are Great (aka Bruce Bowen and he eventually developed a corner three). Also, He lacks the athleticism and size to really make difference guarding the shooting guards in the NBA. Dont expect to see him in the NBA.

That's fine and dandy. He'll just always remember getting completely owned in on of the biggest games of his life by some guy that can't even make the NBA.

I disagree with just about all of this. I believe that a good coach can help him with his shot and NBA teams will certainly have to give him a shot if he continues his defensive dominance.
