I dont remember Germaine The Juice Williams but I do remember Jermaine Sharp from Ouachita Christian and if I remember they used to call him the juice.

The only germaine williams I remember I think is married to Janet Jackson.

IIRC, and I may not, he was Harvey Williams' brother and he played fullback?

I do remember Jermaine Sharp. He was fast.

disclaimer: alcohol consumption was pretty high during those years of LSU football. Necessarily so.

(puts on nomex flame suit for not meeting minimum rant football knowledge requirement and not googling)

this is true, i saw him after the '07 NC game walking down canal and talked with for a while. Guy was/is a great athlete. When BR had 120 mens fast pitch softball teams in the league, he played (late 80's early 90's) and could hit the ball a TON, very fast, and an overall great guy.

He either ran 70-yard for a touchdown or he fumbled. There was no in between. Eventually transferred to Southern and was ultimately kicked off the team.

??? She has a brother named Germaine, but she's never been married to one.

It had to be. How else could we have survived those years.

At one time Juice held the state rushing title. I believe the Diesel broke it.

You are right. Did Cecil hold the single season record at one time?

No, the Diesel was a couple hundred yards shy of passing up the Juice. I think that the Juice set the record about 6 years before the Diesel had finished up his own career.

My high school team played them and they beat us 14-6 in th Qf...the next week they lost to ouachita christian in th semis....we pretty much held him in check...he had about 30 carries for 70 yds...our running back rushed for about 250....we fumbled 11 times and lost 7 of them. kind of hard to win that way!!!!!
