Bandwagon Fans

They are not called rantards for nothing. I agree 100%. UT's pitching performance was great last night - 9 innings of 1 run ball.

We do have some of the most passionate fans in America, but they sometimes are just too emotional to see the game rationally.

For the same reason that many UT fans did it on Monday night.

Every team is gonna have its fair share of assholes.

BTW, incredible pitching by Jungmann last night.

It was a great pitching performance last night by Jungmann hands down!! It's tough as hell to be at your best every game especially when you face pitchers that know how to pitch!!! I highly doubt you will see LSU look like they did last night tonight!! I expect them to come out swinging the bats!! Again, Awesome game for Jungmann!!

LSU fans do find it hard to give anyone else credit. So do Texas fans, and USC fans, and OSU fans, et cetera, et cetera ...

It's not specific to the LSU fan base.

For the most part, Texas fans were not "throwing" the Horns under the bus. They played one hell of a game and that was recognized. There was more criticism in regards to various pitching changes that were made as well as pulling a couple of our power hitters out. The only thing that I saw negative in regards to the team performance, was our catcher throwing the ball out into center field, and our second baseman not at least blocking the ball. I think it's fair to say that this play had a profound effect on the outcome of the game. Other than that....

Well, there's also a big difference between losing in the 11th and feeling like you were never in the game.

Besides, I lived in Austin for 7 years, Houston for 2 and Dallas for 1 - so I'm well aware as to how SOME UT fans can be when things don't go as well as expected.

My point was that, imo we were not throwing the team under the buss. Texas fans were not really saying that our guys were "not hitting" "not pitching" and etc. As for the criticism in regards to some of the Texas pitching changes, LSU fans were questioning it as it was happening. As in "This will haunt Augie" and so on.

Make no mistake about it though, that game may have been the Longhorn's to lose at one point, but they did not give it to LSU. the Tigers capitalized on these pitching changes in a timely manner and did just what good teams do when they are given that chance. That didn't happen in game two.
