Barking at our players, skipping like women after a home run and taking a bow aftera 3th inning solo HR?

Makes it so much more fun watching the Tigers shut their asses up.

I don't know if it was all that bad. It was childish though. It made it look like they were shocked to even be there, and they were soaking it in.

The curtain calls after the home runs were a bit much.

Guess I missed all that. Didn't see anything unsportsman like from Texas.

They don't hit many so I guess they have to take advantage when they do.

LSU definitely had classier expressions/lip movements/etc throughout the game.

Texas Fans are just as in-love with themselves as Aggies, but not as cult-like with it. More cowboy-western like.

Don't be surprised if they rent a plane to fly over LSU's campus with a banner that displays the score of a series game should they win one. They don't remember losses, but they won't let you forget their wins.

Saw the game with a bunch of Horns fans tonight. They were bad as well. Lots of tobacco chewing, toothless, hairy backed foul mouthed slobs - and their husbands weren't any better.

Agreed! I don't ever remember seeing that in a college game. And even in MLB they don't do it after solo shots unless they are "go-aheads" late in the game. Every thing else was ok. The emotions are great in college athletics.

Guess I just have thicker skin than a pussy. Can't believe you even notice crap like that in a great game. Guess you are for the unsportsmanship celebration penalties in football as well.

I have nothing at all against genuine emotion and pumping your team up. Guess that I'm just from the school of thought that says if you have a team on the ropes, don't do anything stupid to rile them up and get them going.

I took issue with the black dude who decided to skip a little as he rounded third... really was it needed?

I didn't see it, but I do wear the Burnt Orange sunglasses. I really thought the curtain call was more a function of them having to listen to all the media talk about how they can't hit, "smal ball", etc. The fans sort of overdid the ovation for that which prompted the curtain call as a "don't leave me hangin'" type deal. I thought both teams played hard and showed incredible class considering the amount of adrenaline that had to be pumping through those kids bodies. I really enjoyed seeing AG and PM out there in the middle of that pressure cooker still having fun with the game. I think any Horn fan or LSU fan who tries to dwell on perceived "slights" from that game are really blocked from the experience of the absolute masterpiece that the game tonight was and I am sorry for them.

Great game Tigers. You have a fun, classy, complete, and clutch bunch of guys out there.

I saw it. He was clapping instead of running to 1st. That's emotion which is what makes college baseball better than MLB to me.
