Not personal at all for me. I like Texas and have great respect for their Baseball tradition and accomplishments. Were playing really well right now. I honestly think we can beat anyone in the nation. Prepare for a war!

It is very personal for me. Living here in Texas, there is not another school anywhere that has more bandwagon fans than the tsippers. Orange makes me and my son sick. At least the A&M fans stick with their team, good or bad.

Baseball is different that football, I think if this were the BCS NC game, you'd probably have a little more of a feeling of a rivalry-just because that is the nature of football. Even though LSU & ut both recruit in their opponents backyard for talent, baseball is such a long season & OOC teams are nothing more than a different view from conference play, that is until you get to Omaha. With LSU playing in the SEC & ut playing in the big 12, that leaves very little time for teams to worry about OOC opponents as being rivals. I know there is a rivalry between schools like ut & arky, & that would probably be a lot of talk had arky been able to knock off the Tigers but that goes back to conference ties of long ago.

This is Omahaux. This is LSU. It doesn't matter who is sitting across the diamond, if you ain't a Tiger, you are TIGERBAIT!!!

Living in Austin so a little personal. I already had to talk some smack last night after the Lucky Longhorns pull out another win.

Agree with this. UT fans just rub me the wrong way. A&M fans are loyal and good people for the most part.

I don't think the LSU views UT as competition as much as UT views us as competition.

Texas doesn't care about LSU at all it's OU all the way for us and the faggies behind them. It is a fact that you will see more threads on this board about Texas any given day then threads about LSU on the Texas boards.

Extremely personal. I'm pretty much the only one in my family who did not go to UT. Mom, dad, aunts, uncles, all Longhorns. It's gonna be fun.

This is very personal to me being from baton rouge my whole life. I've always wished would could play them in a weekend series every year. I guess i'll just settle for a national championship series instead

I went to Texas and I currently go to LSU. I guess you could say this is personal for me.

I grew up an LSU fan in Houston. When it came down to it, I chose to attend the better school (Texas).

During my three years at Texas, the only athletics team that really won me over was the basketball team (TJ Ford, Mouton, Ivey, etc).

I didn't care about baseball then, although I realize Texas won it all while I was there in 2002. The football team was loaded but always came up empty in the big game.

Baton Rouge turned me into a CBB fan. It is infectious here. Not so in Austin. Just like with football (let's face it....UT's gameday atmosphere kinda blows in comparison to LSU's), LSU's baseball atmosphere is 20 times better than Texas'.

Long story short, Texas failed to win me over, in terms of me pulling for them over LSU. They will always be #2. Geaux tigahs!

With all due respect, Senor Tejas, it's South Louisiana. Here's to a CWS for the record books, the LSU record books, that is.

Personal for me, as much as I wish it wasn't. I'm from Austin and I have to hear shite about UT every time I call home. I've been waiting for the day we played TX again in a big game...so now is my chance to shut them the F@%$ up!

I grew up just south of Austin. My brother's an Aggie. Most of my high school friends went to UT. Yeah, it's personal. I want this one bad. Just winning isn't good enough. I want Augie curled up in the fetal position in the dugout clinging to a bottle of Jack Daniels.

there wasnt a soul in sight...my god we pulled right up to this empty parking garage right across the way and parked right in front of the stadium 3 hrs before kickoff, hell, you cant do that 3 days before kickoff in br.

they were also wearing these t-shirts that said "come early, be loud, stay late"....like you really need to say this???
