If your "stipend" is from student loans you may want to think about another option. Instead of getting a credit card another option is a bridge loan. Campus Federal offers this and what it allows you to borrow up to $1,500 and would be paid off by proceeds from the student loan. Just some food for thought, credit cards can be very risky if you're not careful.

The stipend isn't a loan, its just cash, but I won't get it until school starts.
