Overheard some discussions this weekend by each of the super regional announcers and they were talking about each. I think they are about even when it comes to coaching. What do you guys think?

Skip for sure, that shite that Augie coaches isn't even baseball. Its closer to womens softball.

How so?
Also, If I were choosing an anchorman drinking team my first 2 choices would be Augie and LaRussa.
If it was a eating competition it would be Lasorda and Skip...haha!

I'll take this guy over either of the two mentioned. Impressive to say the least

You can't fairly compare him to the modern coaches. Absolutely no one took baseball serious back then, he had no competition.

One of the best coaches in the history of college baseball, and I don't know what the guy's smoking who said that what he coached was more like women's softball. He coached at Fullerton for years and won titles there, then went to Texas where he is still coaching and doing rather well (although I strongly dislike Texas).
To answer the question, I would take Skip, but it's certainly close. Lots of respect for Garrido. His teams at Fullerton were always tough.
