Our d will be back with something to prove this year. Last years performance had to do with total confusion. Look for chad jones to light it up and from what I have heard from someone on the inside is that Cutrera had an outstanding spring and will turn some heads, Chavis absolutely loves the kid.

That statement sort of scared me. I didn't think Cutrera was anything special. Hmmm.... is Chavis an idiot... am I underestimating Cutrera... are we doomed to another year without linebackers to write home about???

meh... I say a 6/10

but I was really hoping that Sheppard or Riley could move to the middle, not because I think that they'd fit in there good, but so that Baker could get to start.

Well philly, thats why you get paid for whatever you do and not to coach bc you dont know who should be playing what or where and neither do I.

Certainly not a knock against Philly because I love the emotion that Baker plays with and would also love to see him play.

Wait til you get a load of this place come August. There are about 1,489,345,000 coaches on this message board who are infinitely better than anyone on the LSU coaching staff. You will see.

I realize you're not looking for ratings, but I have to say that this post is more like an 8/10.

I think Chavis knows just a little bit more about about linebacking and the respective skills of his LB's at LSU than do the resident TD experts.

I would imagine he likes Cutrera for the same reason that Pelini liked Sanders. Maybe not the greatest athlete in the world, but provides great leadership on the field, calls the defensive signals and makes all the other LB's around him better.........

Cutrera is a great athlete. He is the fastest and biggest lb on the team,

Compared to Ryan Baker, Harry Coleman, and Kelvin Shepherd......Cutura is the fastest?

He is the slowest MLB to put an LSU uniform on that I have ever seen.

I think he is big and and has skillz....don't get me wrong. But speed is his weakness.

And noooooo.....Cutura will be lucky to be drafted on day 2... let alone day 1.
