Surprised not to see the Baylor SS as well. Must have been the big hit by Nola that got it for him. Baylor's shortstop looked like he could be a stud at the next level.

Which one? The one that tied the Southern game with two outs in the 7th or the one that took the lead in the 10th vs. Baylor.

he made some plays tonight, Did he get robbed of the Big Ten triple crown? Heard he led the Big Ten in Hrs & RBIs and was 2nd going into the regionals in BA.

My buddy was sitting next to a scout for Detroit all weekend. The scout told him that McCallum was the best hitter in the nation this year. The dude was hitting over .400 with 18/19 hrs, 90-something hits, almost as many rbis, and had like 35 combined extra base hits. Scout said he was a stud first-rounder.

He had the two biggest hits of the regional.

A big double in the MSU series. He has had quite a few big hits.

Anyone know why he would not be taken #1 overall with those stats. I am more of a football fan but played baseball. So many pitchers that I have seen do not pan out so I would think you would take a hitter that can play a position over a guy that can throw 100... most eveyone in MLB throws 95 so what is 5 mph?
