What do you think the odds are that LSU goes in to the house that Bear built and beats the mighty Crimson Tide this year?

I like our chances. The season can't start soon enough.

"the house that bear built"to me it looks like a bunch of rednecks built that ugly fricked up looking stadium.

Muy. Sadly many folk, including all of the media, will always refer to this series as "Saban bowl".

What do you think the odds are that LSU goes in to the house that Bear built and beats the mighty Crimson Tide for the fifth time in a row?

Let's see how things look after LSU plays a couple of games and then ask that question.

$1, Bob, err Drew; f it wrong game anyway

fwiw, I think Bama fans, a few Rantards and ESPN are the only ones that really see the Bama game as "Saban Bowl 3." For me, it's just the need to redeem ourselves after last year. Man I can't wait for football season unfortunately, we still have about 100+ days til that happens :(

Bear Bryant is dead. Get over it. By the way, with a new QB, what makes you think Bama will be so "mighty" this year?

Last time I checked, LSU will be breaking in a relatively new quarterback as well. Bama will be mighty because they have Uncle Nick Saban

not quite. both our QB's have SEC game and bowl game experience. Regardless of how they played last season, they are ready to play. Bama has HUGE question marks at QB

50/50 both teams have questions. I would give LSU a slight edge right now. The odds go to 50/50 based on your home field advantage. OF course in this series it really doesnt mean that much.

Even though this should be 5 in a row we have a plan. We'll dress up as ULM just so we know Osama bin Saban is out of the picture.

Bama will certainly be a tough game but honestly, I'm more concerned about 3-4 other games on our schedule than Bama. I do believe you guys will play up to us pretty well though.
