What is it? What will dissapoint you, will making it to a super regional be enough? Omaha? What if we go to Omaha and win 1 game, lose 2 like last year and are gone, is that success enough for you? Is winning the national title and nothing less your expectation?

FWIW, I expect a trip to Omaha and to win at least 1 game. Anything less would be a dissapointment, but not the end of the world.

Winning two games in the CWS would be my lowest expectations. No way should they lose at home.

I feel like I'm usually extremely realistic in my expectations, but I really feel like this team is capable of winning the whole thing if the bullpen continues to come through. I'd like to see us get to Omaha and at least make a strong run for the whole thing if not take home the title. Anything less than at least an appearance in Omaha is an extreme disappointment this year I think.

This team is better than last year's so expecting anything less than Omaha and at least a win there would be disappointing.

Making it to Omaha and getting to the final 2 teams on our side of the 8 team bracket would be nice.

I expect to make Omaha. Anything less would be upsetting. I think the team feels the same way. Once in Omaha, it's hard to say anything with certainty. You just have to make it there and then go from there.

To add, next year's team should be even better than this year's if we can find another good starting pitcher.

Scary to think about.

Possible, but he'll have a very high asking price.

Because we're at home I EXPECT to make it to Omaha. Beyond that, I will be dissapointed if we get eliminated, regardless of our record, because I think this team has all the necessary tools to win it all. But whatever happens in Omaha, once the dust settles, I will look back and be pleased that PM got us there the last 2 years.

To answer Josh's question, at this point in time, 2-2 in Omaha would be the least that I would expect from this team. They have the talent to winit all, but you have to have "good baseball fortune" as well.

That said, they have a tough draw in game 1 if they make it to Omaha. Looks like they could be facing UC Irvine or Ole Miss. Hell, there's an outside chance that they would have to face Strasburg! Ole Miss would certainly be the lesser of those three evils!
