I'd love A&M every year. Texas would be a great home and home. I don't like the Texas Tech matchup, for them of course. We'd blow them out.

A&M will not play LSU. Besides being pissed at us about the series back in the 90's, they don't want LSU to get any more exposure in Texas. It will do nothing but hurt recruiting even more for them. Texas & OU is already assraping them in recruiting, with LSU picking a few up from Texas also. Why would they want to help LSU out with their prospects even more? Its actually a smart move by A&M. They suck dog nuts anyway. It would be a blowout.

Right. If one of our main reasons for wanting it is that it would help our recruiting in Texas, why in the world would a Texas school make it harder on themselves than it already is. Not to mention for A&M it's a likely loss, and for UT it's a toss-up. Like LSU, if they go through their conference undefeated, they'll find themselves in the NCG. For us fans, it'd be great, but anything other than the home/home every 10-15 years is pretty unlikely.

Don't you guys think our schedule year in and year out is plenty hard enough without wanting to throw in a road game every other year to a major school in Texas?

True, but never have understood why we don't play Texas more, they're right next door.
