only three. Pac Ten was really down this year. Some of their teams still have frontline talent but none of them could really put it together except for Arizona St. I think the Big West was closer to getting a 4th team in than the Pac 10 was.

FWIW, I think these are the only conferences with 3 teams or more in the playoffs...

SEC: 8 (LSU, UF, UM, SCAR, Bama, UGA, Ark, VU)
Big XII: 8 (TX, OU, KSU, TAMU, Mizz, OSU, BU, KU)
ACC: 7 (UNC, GT, Clem, FSU, Mia., UVA, BC)
Big West: 3 (CS-Fullerton, UC-Irvine, Cal Poly)
Big Ten: 3 (Minnesota, Ohio State, Indiana)
Pac 10: 3 (ASU, OSU, WSU)
CUSA: 3 (ECU, Rice, USM) [NOT Tulane ... haha!]
MWC: 3 (TCU, SDSU, Utah)

I certainly is odd to not see Stanford in postseason action.

Not as odd as it to see 8 Big XII teams.

I'm sure people said that about LSU a couple years back also.

They lost the regular season title to ECU by 1 game ( LINK), but won the tourney.

In all honesty, I really do think Tulane got screwed.
